God doesn’t need your worship. He desires your worship, and He understands that your worship of Him will lift your life up so that you can be even closer to Him. Our worship of God is for our benefit. It’s for our life sustainment. It’s wonderful to honor your Father, and when you honor your Father, He wants to favor you, too.
It’s like a good child who comes to their mom or dad and always wants to spend time with them, be with them, know about them, and help them. Think about that in your relationship to God. How much more will God want to give you and shower you with gifts and love because you’re showing Him that you want to be with Him and that you love Him?
