I will not see your face again. Wow. Those are some harsh words right there. I will not see your face again. That’s what you gotta tell that person who’s bothering you, who won’t leave you alone, who thinks you’re everything to them, that they the world. You’d be like, mm-hmm. I will not see your face again. Show them.
Did Pharaoh just threaten Moses with death? That’s what it sounds like to me. He said. Get away that you may not see my face again, because when you see me again, you are gonna die. What? That sounds like a death threat to me.
And Moses said, as you say. I will not see your face again. So Moses agreed that he wouldn’t see him again, but he did not agree with the death part, he didn’t say, or I will die. No, because Moses’ life is not in the hand of Pharaoh. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Moses’ life is in the hand of God.
I’m not giving you that power, Pharaoh. The Lord God does not give you that power.
