Hey everyone. It’s Shirah Chante here with Perfect Body Podcast. You have a perfect body — you. Perfect body. That’s my diligent inspection. Perfect body, you retain in every direction. Perfect body. And that’s what we’re doing today. We’re getting a portion of the Almighty God through His Word, the Torah: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. Thank you so much for being here with me today.
I was inspired to study the Torah from when I was in my early twenties, when the Lord led me to a Reform synagogue up in Rochester, New York, where I was attending divinity school. I was looking for a church because I thought, okay, I’m not in my home, I need to congregate somewhere and worship God.
So I went around town looking for different churches. I tried a Methodist church, a Baptist church, and a Greek Orthodox church, which was very interesting with all the smoke and the garb. I was like, wow, this is different. This is unique. I tried different churches, but I just didn’t feel like that’s where the Lord was leading me.
I was like, no, that’s not it. You know how you just know something? You know when something’s not for you, or you know when something is for you. It’s like, no, that’s not it, or yeah, that’s the one. When I went into the Reform synagogue, I knew, yeah, that’s the one. That’s where God was calling me. That’s where He wanted me to worship Him while I was living in Rochester, New York, attending divinity school.
And it was a beautiful experience. They taught me how to study the Torah. And now I’m here to study the Torah with you. All right? Way to go, learning things in life and continuing them. We continue the good things in life that we learn. That’s a good thing. Get rid of the bad stuff. Let the bad stuff go and keep the good stuff.
God bless, Shirah Chante, your relationship coach
