Jesus is now known in the earth because He has been doing a lot of miracles. In Mark chapter one, there was in the synagogue a man with an unclean spirit, and he cried out saying, “Let us alone. What have we to do with thee, Jesus of Nazareth? I know who thou art, the Holy One of God.”
Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Hold thy peace, and come out of him.” And when the unclean spirit had torn him and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him. They were all amazed and questioned among themselves, saying, “What thing is this? What new doctrine is this? For with authority commandeth He even the unclean spirits, and they do obey Him.”
And immediately His fame spread abroad throughout all the region round about Galilee. Casting out devils made Him famous—not for attention, but because He was doing the work of the Kingdom of God. The devils knew Him. They knew who He was.
The devils know you when you follow Jesus and you do the things He does. They didn’t want to leave the bodies they were inhabiting, because they need a body to operate more effectively in the earth. They feared Jesus. Even the demons fear and tremble at Jesus Christ.
